The business subteam manages the budget and accounting books; liaises with the community, donors, and university administration; and educates the community about renewable and energy-efficient living. The subteam is further divided into smaller specialized units: accounting, corporate development, marketing, communications, and outreach.

  • Ali Baig, Communication ‘08, enjoys Irish football.
  • Greg Billing, Communication ’08, is on Cornell’s juggling team- he can ride a unicycle and juggle seven balls.
  • Helena Chan, Operations Research & Engineering ’08, really enjoys the company of ducks.
  • Elizabeth Conlan, International Agriculture & Rural Development ’10, was once asked by Colin Powell is she’d like to “drive his Corvette.”
  • Nicole Craddock, Master’s in Business Administration ’08, rides a Honda Hawk NT 650 motorcycle.
  • Morgan Ellithorpe, Communication & Psychology ’10, has a slice of brown in the blue iris of her right eye.
  • Matt Faust, Applied Economics & Management ’08.
  • Matt Hintsa, International Agriculture & Rural Development ’10, had a high school graduating class over 50 times smaller than his class at Cornell.
  • Day Jimenez, Architecture ’09, is pure funk.
  • Michael Lin, Computer Science ’09, coded this entire website two weeks before competition. We are not kidding.
  • Joseph Mastrocola, Bachelor’s and Master’s in Engineering, Operations Research & Engineering ’08, played club baseball and enjoys Super Smash Brothers.
  • Scott McClintock, Master’s in Business Administration ’08, made the leap from Hotelie to MBA, with the help of his new dog, Cayuga.
  • Susan Newman, Science Communication ’08, plays ice hockey.
  • Thomas Noble, American Studies ’08, runs Cornell’s Red Carpet Program that hosts prospective freshmen on campus visits.
  • Rishad Olpadwala ‘96, Master’s in Business Administration ’08, graduated from Cornell as an undergraduate, moved to L.A. where he surfed and made movies, and returned in 2006 to get his MBA, go green, and make a few more trips to the Cayuga Medical Center emergency room.
  • Robert Petrina ‘00, Master’s in Business Administration ’08, worked for General Electric solar and has a minor in improving himself.
  • Jenny Rector, Architecture ’09, loves to travel and hopes to spend a lot of time in Europe.
  • Morghan Transue, Biological & Environmental Engineering ’08, threw the discus on a track and field team for seven years.
  • Bryan Wolin, Science Communication ’08, does a 200 mile bike tour every summer to raise money for the Westchester Special Olympics.
  • Daniel Zook, Master’s in Business Administration ’07, swam varsity for Princeton, spent time doing microfinance in Vietnam, helped entrepreneurs using a renewable electricity machine called the Weza in sub-Saharan Africa, and now works in Dubai.
