controls
The controls subteam is responsible for the integration of lights, appliances, HVAC, and electrical power. Systems designed by this group monitor house conditions (temperature, humidity, light, occupancy, security) and optimize all engineering systems based on these measurements. A wall-embedded touch screen allows the occupants unprecedented control over all house systems while supplying them with information such as energy production, outside temperature, electrical consumption of individual outlets, and indoor air quality.
