This subteam designed the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to meet the rigorous climate-control requirements of the competition in the most energy-efficient way possible. The team also designed HVAC systems that deliver solar-heated water to the house for space heating and bathing.

  • Katie Alexander, Environmental Engineering ’08, is a vegan and cooks meals for several friends twice a week.
