Alan joined the Cornell Solar Decathlon team in January of 2009, jumping in on the all-star HVAC sub-team. He is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is scheduled to graduate in 2011. In the future, he hopes to be able to beat HVAC sub-team leader David Martin in a chess match.
