Why is CUSD still fundraising? I thought the project was completed!
We did it! We’ve constructed the school, but we want to fully reach our fundraising goal to cover all the details. Many previous Social Architecture projects begun interiors, playgrounds, and garden landscaping after the building was constructed. We want to include everything and MORE in our project. Won’t you help us complete the school with all its promised finishing touches?

How is my contribution being used?
The majority of funds raised are used on building materials and services, site and garden preparations. These would include: contractors, raw materials, leveling of the site, and any other preparatory or construction-related costs. We also believe in supporting and paying for the community workers we hire. Publicity and outreach projects include our artistic outreach programmes, presentations at schools, printed collateral, and our Groundbreaking Ceremony, and Opening Ceremony.
The majority of our donations came directly from South Africa. We also had other international donors outside of the United States.
